Matt has over 15 years of experience in apparel manufacturing and fibre research. He was part of Arizona State University’s Edson Entrepreneurship Program and maintains links to the institution as well as allied US companies. Matt is passionate about the competitive advantages offered by automation and reshoring for Australia’s industry 4.0 transformations. |

Dr Dylan Hegh (BSc, MSc, PhD) Development and Operations |

Dylan currently manages the Future Fibres Facility at Deakin University, home to Australia’s only short-staple cotton spinning line. He has extensive experience across the textile value chain, including fibre processing, spinning, and fabric development. Dylan facilitates and leads industry-focused textile research, delivering outcomes that support innovation and circular economy goals. |

Peter is a highly experienced Managing Director with a demonstrated history of working in the fabric and textiles industry. He’s a skilled negotiator with extensive knowledge in organisational planning, operations management and business development. Peter is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and graduate of the Gordon Institute. |

Professor Joe Razal (BSc, MSc, PhD) Science Lead and International Development (Based in Hong Kong) Professor Joselito M. Razal (Joe) is the former Director of the ARC Hub for Future Fibres and former Deputy Director of the Institute for Frontier Materials at Deakin University He’s dedicated to revitalising Australia’s fibre industry and re-establishing its global leadership position. Using the Lab to Label™ concept, his team is creating pathways to make scientific innovations readily accessible to industry and the broader public. |
